MAKE A WISH ROADSTER

The Canadian Street Rodding Hall of Fame is proud to have partnered with Maurice and Joan Siemachesky who will be driving their 1928 Ford Roadster from Port Alberni, B.C. to Halifax, N.S. this summer. The purpose of the 13,000 km drive is to raise awareness and money for “Make A Wish Canada”.

“Make A Wish” grants the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions. They enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy by making dreams and wishes come true. To date, in Canada, they been able to make over 5600 magical wishes become reality for these special children. One of the recipients was Maurice and Joan’s granddaughter Marley Hoglund and she has been the inspiration for event. In 2011 Marley had brain surgery at the Stollery Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. The operation was a success and with the help of the Northland Corporation and “Make A Wish” Marley’s dream came true. The Siemachesky’s were so touched by the organization and the positive impact on little Marley that they created the Canada Wish Cruise to support the efforts of “Make A Wish”.
